The project consists of the requalification and expansion of an industrial unit in Esposende.

The intervention aims to respond to the current needs of the factory and allow greater response capacity.

The requalification begins with the introduction of a new concrete façade in the existing pavilion. It is also proposed the expansion of the production unit through the construction of a new pavilion attached to the existing one and, in order to optimize space, a new triangular roof for the sawmill, encompassing the existing house that functions as an office area. Additionally, a covered parking lot will be implemented that can simultaneously function as an exhibition platform.

Still in the existing pavilion, a new roof is added and a translucent lateral façade is introduced, which allows for an increase in the ceiling height of the production area and the entry of natural light from the side. These modifications reinforce the structure and height of the unit, creating a more efficient environment for production.
