The Ponte de Lima Campsite was conceived as part of a global strategy with the rest of the village. Its strategic location determined the need to explore the pedestrian / road connections with the urban network of the village, as well as the housing typology, in a perspective that the campsite could be a valid alternative to the conventional housing.

The main concept of the project focuses on the upper square that deforms into terraces that will receive the main buildings and the bungalows. The bungalows appear metaphorically as large blocks of granite “deposited” on the land. The rough character of the exterior, where the granite prevails, is opposed to the wooden interiors, creating a warmer, more comfortable and intimate environment. The main buildings are constructed with cleaner and slightly detached volumes of the floor, while together they form the entrance square, which serves as a reception, leisure and events area.
