The intervention project is located on Rua do Souto, in the heart of the historic center of the city of Braga. This street is characterized by its dynamic commercial nature.

The intervention translates into the respect for the building and the surroundings without ever reiterating the quality and spatial rigor wanted.

The project aims to explore how architecture can be translated into less conventional rituals extracted from the studio's vocabulary: the silence of the white and black walls, the continuity and cleanliness of the floor, the personalized treatment of lighting and a restricted palette of materials. The space thus focuses on the spatial sequence produced by the designed elements in which rigor plays a fundamental role.

The demolition of all the interior walls was proposed in the search for greater amplitude and spatial rationality. Given the particularities of the space, the accesses are structured in two points: a staircase at the left end of the store in order to gain more space and an elevator. The exhibition areas are divided into two floors and the exhibition area on the ground floor is preceded by a double height area that, in addition to creating a large showcase, gives the space its dignity.
