The table is composed by two vertical planes and a horizontal one. The thicknesses are reduced to the minimum. The design is based on three fundamental ideas: formal simplicity, functionality and multiplicity of solutions. Arpa emphasizes the personal relationship and contains an inherent contradiction: although it was thought as a single piece in the small individual office, Arpa is flexible enough to clearly answer complex solutions, allowing its use in large spaces.
