Casas Soengas are located in Gerês, in the parish of Caniçada and Soengas, in a place that we can characterize as paradisiacal, densely wooded, next to the Caniçada reservoir.

On the terrain there are two ruins, which perfectly satisfy the requirements. The existing exterior walls will be used in a way to minimize the intervention of the land in the two ruins.

The new constructions seek to add. They seek to mark the territory with singular references.

The interior compartmentalization will be reformulated to adapt to the experiences and needs of the owners, thus creating alternatives for use and life experiences. The building that corresponds to ruin 1 is intended for housing, a studio house, and includes a living room/pantry space on the ground floor and a bedroom with sanitary installation on the upper floor. The building that corresponds to ruin 2 is intended to support the house and includes a spa space.
