The project for the LUX building, located in front of Mercado dos Pinhões, in Pelotas square in the city of Fortaleza, created an intervention in an existing building with the aim of serving as a studio and exhibition areas for the work of photographer Tiago Santana, always having as principle the possibility of being used for different cultural events.

For this, the project proposal created a strategy of internal demolitions that allowed the creation of physical and visually interconnected spaces, creating a notion of a vertical hall, allowing multiple perspectives on the works on display.

In terms of the exterior, the incorporation of patios and a green façade makes it possible to establish a more delicate relationship with the urban space, between the industrial building and the Mercado dos Pinhões building.
